We’ll have the chance to explore Murmansk’s main historical monuments and take in panoramic views of the city from above. We'll dive into the history of the peninsula and discover its unique characteristics.
In Teriberka, we’ll stand in awe before the majestic ocean and experience the unique «Dragon Egg» beach— a sight like no other. Here, we’ll enjoy the landscapes of the Far North, where land meets sea in a rugged, Arctic embrace.
Our journey then takes us to a Sami village, where we’ll immerse ourselves in the lives and traditions of the indigenous people of the Kola Peninsula. We’ll ride quad bikes, explore the area, and meet the friendly local animals that never fail to make a lasting impression.
Finally, as we ascend the Lovozero tundras, we’ll experience the wild beauty of the North and take in breathtaking views—a landscape that leaves a deep and unforgettable impression.
What you will see in the tour
The tour program
After breakfast we will depart for Legendary Teriberka. On the way there we will make some photo stops at the endless tundra and the Stones’ garden.
Main locations of the day:
- Tundra-tundra-tundra all around (no flora)
- Old Ships Graveyard
- Dragon's eggs beach and Dragon’s den
- Frozen Waterfall among Red rocks
- Batareysk lake
- Sand beach of Barents sea with a giant Swing and a run aground ship
- Famous traveller’s bench
We will go sailing to watch whales and other sea animals (3-hour short sea trip). After sailing we will have lunch at the seaside restaurant.
21:00 Arrival back in Murmansk.
You will visit the incredible place of power with various landscapes which will reset your mind.
- Layered Rocky Tundra Relief
- Dizzying sheer cliffs
- Amazing northern nature from a bird's-eye view. If the weather is fine, we’ll see some of the Russian oldest mountains - the Khibiny!
- Picnic on top of a rocky plateau with tea party with local herbs
Transfer to Murmansk in the evening.
After breakfast we will go to the Sami settlement.
We will:
- change into ethnic costumes
- learn the habits of the Sami - indigenous peoples of the North
- play some funny Sami games
- ride quad bikes in the forest
- feed reindeer, racсoons, foxes and rabbits
- learn main principles of deer farming
- take some beautiful pictures
Group transfer to the airport to catch the recommended flight.
