We will:
- visit the Snow Village built from snow and ice by masters’ hands (the object is included in the Book of World Records of Russia). Its design changes every year.
- have an exciting ride on a snow bus with panoramic windows and capture all the beauties of the very heart of the Khibiny Mountains on camera.
- ride up the ski resort funicular at «Bolshoy Vudyavr».
- have lunch at the “Plato” or “Tirvas” restaurant and get bird’s-eye view of the mountains and Kirovsk.
What you will see in the tour
The tour program
Transfer from Murmansk to Kirovsk – a city in the heart of the Kola Peninsula, home to the famous Bolshoy Vudyavr ski resort (the drive takes approximately 2.5 hours).
We will visit the Snow Village, a marvel built entirely from snow and ice and listed in the Russian Book of Records. Each year, it boasts a new theme that never repeats, with all structures handmade by skilled artists. Simple snow blocks are transformed into walls, corridors, rooms, and stunning sculptures, creating a magical world for visitors.
Next, we’ll board a snow bus with panoramic windows for a scenic ride up the mountain, capturing the stunning beauty of the heart of the Khibiny Mountains.
Of course, we’ll enjoy lunch at a mountain-top restaurant, high above the clouds.
After the program concludes, we’ll bring you back to your hotel for a comfortable return.
