What you will see in the tour

The tour program

ARRIVAL At arrival our driver will meet you at the airport with a sign. You need to keep in touch with us to get more information about your guide’s name, phone number and Aurora Borealis forecast.

After check in you may visit a local restaurant and have a rest. We will inform you of the exact time for Aurora hunting. It is necessary to be dressed warmly.

AURORA HUNTING INFO: At 21:00 (Moscow time) we will pick you up at your city hotel and start hunting (exact time will be advised when we get pictures of the Sky) 

- It will take about 3-5 hours to hunt (it depends on weather conditions) 

- We always take hot tea and cookies onboard 

- All pictures with Aurora are included in the price of your trip 

- After Aurora hunting our driver will take you back to your hotel

08:00* We will head to Teriberka – one of the oldest settlements in the Murmansk region. The village is located right on the shore of the Barents Sea, which is a marginal sea of the Arctic Ocean. 

We will take amazing photos at the most famous spots: 

- Polar wind Park and Rock Garden 

- Ancient ship cemetery 

- Dragon Egg Beach and Dragon’s Lair 

- Battery Waterfall among Red Cliffs 

- Giant Swings on the Seashore 

- The Famous Traveler’s Bench 

For an additional fee, you can add a sea trip with whale watching (the boat should be booked in advance). 

We will have lunch at a restaurant on the sandy beach of the Barents Sea (paid separately). 

We will return to Murmansk around 19:00. 

The second night of Aurora hunting is included (subject to weather conditions).

* The time is approximate (timing depends on weather conditions, road conditions, group pace, etc.) 

** The road to Teriberka is sometimes closed due to strong winds and snowfall. In such cases, we reschedule the trip to another day or change the destination. Sea trips can also be canceled due to wind, high waves, and severe storms.

DAY 3. SAMI. REINDEER & HUSKY

  • Excursion. Sami people & national buildings: raw-hide tents, tree houses and local homeware.

  • Meeting with animals: huskies, deer, racoons, foxes, rabbits and Arctic foxes. Feeding of deer, taking pictures with animals.

  • Reindeer sledding (till the end of April), banana tube riding, sliding down an ice chute.

  • Photo session in national costumes of native peoples (Sami).

  • Outdoor Sami games: «tug-of-war», «deer and wolves», «Sami football» etc.

  • Arctic lunch in the park.

 

In the morning we will travel to the Tundra park for Snowmobile

Safari (1 hour).

● Feel the rush of adrenaline as you speed across breathtaking,

snow-covered landscapes. This high-energy adventure

promises excitement and stunning views.

● Refuel and warm up after your adventure with a taste of

authentic Arctic cuisine and hot herbal tea.

After snowmobiling & tasty lunch we will have Ultimate Ice Floating

Experience. Duration is about 2 hours long (with instruction).

● Challenge yourself with the thrilling plunge into the icy Kola

Bay! Equipped with thermal suits, experience the unique

sensation of ice floating – a hugely popular activity offering

pure exhilaration and amazing photo moments.

The whole day program will take us about 5-6 hours with transfers.

After the tour we will transfer you to the hotel.
